| From 1989 to 1999 Dave Penney worked extensively in the control, intelligence and investigation disciplines of HM Customs and Excise (now HMRC), primarily in the area of drugs.
In 2000 Dave joined Europol, where he is the leader of the Synthetic Drug and Precursor Section of the Drugs Unit and responsible for related Project SYNERGY, initiating and supporting operational and strategic activities across the European Union.
