| Matthew Mitchell works in the Young People's Drug Prevention Team, a part of the Drug Strategy Directorate in the Home Office. He has been involved with the development and delivery of the Governments national drug awareness campaign since before it was launched in May 2003.
Matthew's particular role has been responsibility for stakeholder and community partner engagement, and facilitating local FRANK campaigns. He works across government with communications teams, and especially with colleagues in Department of Health and Department for Education and Skills, and has considerable experience of working with advertising and marketing agencies and developing drug prevention messages. Before joining the Home Office he worked on the Department of Work and Pensions 'New Deal' initiative and was responsible for marketing across South East London.
