Andy Sellers
Deputy Director for London Enforcement, Serious Organised Crime Agency

Andy commands all of the enforcement assets that are based in the designated London Enforcement area, comprising Tolworth, Heathrow and the Middle Market Drugs Project.

Andy joined the Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA) from the National Crime Squad (NCS). He was a Metropolitan Police Officer for 30 years, retiring in September 2006. He moved to the NCS in February 2002 where he headed the Operational Support Unit (incorporating the Authorities Bureau, the Undercover capability, Witness Protection and Professional Standards). He also had oversight of CHIS management and policy and the NCSÅfs contribution to confronting animal rights.

He has worked in territorial policing but much of his career has been in specialist crime. His former roles have included Head of Trident, the Directorate of Professional Standards, Head of the Flying Squad and Special Projects Team. He also has extensive experience of the investigation of kidnap and extortion offences and international investigations.
