| Becky joined The Forensic Science Service (FSS) in 1988, when she was trained in general biology casework. Since then she spent several years working in Research where she validated the Second Generation Multiplex (SGM) and later the more discriminating SGMPlusTM systems, methods of DNA profiling on which the National DNA Database is founded.
She has project-managed several major initiatives for the FSS including the DNA expansion programme and has held several Directorships.
She was appointed to the Executive Board as Change Management/HR Director in May 2003 before taking up her current role as Change and New Business Director in 2005.
