| Ian Seabridge is Assistant Chief Constable Territorial Policing, responsible for six of Greater Manchester PoliceÅfs twelve divisions. He is also Assistant Chief Constable Partnerships and has worked at the heart of developments in partnership policing such as Greater Manchester Against Crime and the Partnership Business Steering Group which he currently chairs.
Ian is a member of the ACPO Drugs Committee and Research and Information Working Group . He also chairs the ACPO Drugs Standing Working Group which provides a cadre of skilled and experienced investigators and related specialists to the police service.
His earlier career was predominately as a senior detective but during his time in uniform he was the senior officer on the ground when the Manchester City Centre IRA bomb exploded.
