| District Judge Justin Philips practised at the Criminal Bar from 1970 to 1989 when he was appointed as a Metropolitan Stipendiary Magistrate. He became a District Judge in 2000.
From 1995-2006 he sat part-time in the Crown Court, resigning as a Recorder this year to devote his time to the Dedicated Drugs Court at West London. Judge Philips chairs the local Steering Group for the Court. He is a member of the National Working Group on Methamphetamine.
